It should be possible, you might want to get a surplus connector so you can hook the fan motor to a battery.

Yes, this is definitely worth a sticky.

I did this upgrade just under two years ago and have loved it.

Also, there was a question earlier about this set-up fitting behind a 15" wheel. The answer was that you need no less than a 16" wheel for proper fitment. True for Regal wheels. But if there are any GP owners lurking in here (or any who wants to put GP wheels on their W-body) please know that the GP 16" mesh wheel will not work either.

Everyone should at least have this brake set-up on their W-body.

Cheers.

The wheel you are talking about is the GP Crosslace wheel.

Yes, Daniel is correct. I meant what he said, I just used the improper name for it. That happens when you get to be my age.

Sorry if I missed this I did do a search, Will the 12 inch brake upgrade work with my stock GS rims? If so any suggestions aside from junkyards and ebay for the caliper brackets? Also are they a direct bolt on? I am planning on using my stock calipers. I'm hoping this works since I am keeping my stock rims. Thanks!

Park Avs, Arouras, DeVilles, ?STS/Eldo?, Some of the minivans, um.....

Just grab the brackets and roll with your old calipers. install new rotors and good to go. YES they will fit under you stock 16" rim.

What about upgraded OEM sized rotors off of ebay? They make a crossdrilled and slotted rotor and pad upgrade, front and rear, for $200. Is it worth the money?

In this thread I listed every GM car that uses the 12" brackets and rotors.
