@  BlackBetty : (29 July 2014 - 06:20 PM) ty for all your help this site rocks.. also is there a diy for exhaust. im unclear about the downpipe connection in the back
@  BlackBetty : (29 July 2014 - 05:59 PM) ill work on moving it more forward n such tonight.. its 100 degrees still here at midnight. i even took of a secondary cover next to the flywheel cover. would jacking the engine up a little bit more give me anything?
@  BlackBetty : (29 July 2014 - 05:58 PM) actually i did that 1st lol so i could get familiar with things while we set up for everything else
@  glendayle : (29 July 2014 - 05:49 PM) Make sure you removed the oil level sensor. That can get in the way.
@  glendayle : (29 July 2014 - 05:49 PM) then one moment, the pan will just be in your hands.
@  glendayle : (29 July 2014 - 05:49 PM) yeah, if you are catching on the edge there, just try to slide it forward a little bit. You just sort of have to figure it out
@  glendayle : (29 July 2014 - 05:48 PM) cool
@  BlackBetty : (29 July 2014 - 05:43 PM) yes i was using that link.. hence why backed the bolt in the rear out and reinstalled half inch. the LIM write up when very well minus snapping a few bolts. i blame the POS torque wrench that got returned. yes that took the longest out of everything a ratchet box end 15mm and off set 15mm helped vastly and for $20 for both :)
@  glendayle : (29 July 2014 - 05:40 PM) did you remove the motor mount bracket?
@  glendayle : (29 July 2014 - 05:39 PM) http://www.regalgs.o...et-replacement/
@  glendayle : (29 July 2014 - 05:39 PM) don't tug at all, you'll crease the corner
@  BlackBetty : (29 July 2014 - 05:38 PM) just catches bringing the pan down.. how hard can i tug? is it ok to pry it a little or with that bend/dent the pan?
@  glendayle : (29 July 2014 - 05:36 PM) yeah, no need to touch the front
@  BlackBetty : (29 July 2014 - 05:25 PM) oh ok looked like the front part of the cradle was bolted up with a torx bolt. i didnt want to have to purchase a specialty tool. I only loosened the back two.
@  Nateteo : (29 July 2014 - 05:21 PM) Torx is control arms.
@  Nateteo : (29 July 2014 - 05:20 PM) Torch is control arms.
@  glendayle : (29 July 2014 - 03:43 PM) ummmm torx bolt for what? cradle bolts are not torx bit.
@  BlackBetty : (29 July 2014 - 07:45 AM) So doing oil pan gasket.. thinking bout dropping the front cradle down some to give a little extra room for pan removal. Anyone know size of Torx bolt??
@  glendayle : (28 July 2014 - 08:06 AM) can fix any cluster with the bad readout for like $10
@  glendayle : (28 July 2014 - 08:05 AM) super easy fix. read the DIY

You will not find any more of them, the most you will find are used gsx grilles or new lsx grilles as that's basically all that's out there. I ended up just purchasing an lsx grille off ebay for $89 but i'll have to find a gsx badge or have one made.

I had a couple spare GSX badges around. Looks like I'll continue to save them and make some money off them. GSX parts are worth pretty good money for these cars now days

I believe any color that was available in 2003-04 was eligible, here's a link to a red one at the bottom oh the page http://edchapman.tripod.com/cars.html . Black seems to be the dominant color simply because of the brochure.

Notice the wheels Loly... the wheels are the give away, not a true GSX.... i swore that SLP told me black and white were the only colors available

The wheels were a very pricey option, so weren't standard LSX/GSX fare. They were over $2Large and if you had stock chromies over the brushed aluminum, it was hard tolet go of them to upgrade to get the GSX rims because you did not get a refund or credit or anything. They just took them.

On another note, I have yet to see an LSX with the SLP label in the driver's door jamb, always were at the cross beam frame by the rad, and every real GSX that I've seen, the SLP label was in the door jamb on the driver's side. Just saying.
