The majority of people on fb are annoying.

@  ejguillot : (21 September 2018 - 03:03 PM)

Agreed. I'd rather pay money to keep this site going than be on Facebook and having everything on there be used to make a buck for Zuck and company.

@  Vicious6 : (20 September 2018 - 01:48 PM)

We need to get this place moving again! Post link to this site on every social media site you know! Been around too long and we can't let it go down..........

Washed, Clay Bared, washed again, then waxed and buffed.  Uh hoh hoh! (do it like Ted Baxter)... looking good, drove it for a "bit" because it took so long to wash it twice and clay bar and wax it, etc. etc....lol!.  Good work out though!

Well, slowly collecting parts.  Should have the L36 pulled and on an engine stand tomorrow.  Sourced a set of WBS heads for cheap.  Belt wrap kit is in the mail.  Gaskets are in the mail.  A couple of other parts are on the way as well.  I wish I could decide between going to an XP cam or staying with the VS.  I think I'm going to stay with the VS.

Do you have both ? If you didn't already buy the XP , I'd suggest the S1X and 105 springs. You would be quite pleased with the extra torque ;)

I only have VS at the moment.  What is the difference in power and torque between the VS, XP, and S1X?

Hope this short read will help ;)

But honestly even with a stsge 3 cam, the only difference in drivability is my idle. It's god-awful choppy which I could raise the RPMs

Well the father son build is going great i am letting him do 95% of the tear down
with me just over looking him.
I must say i am really proud of him he reminds me of myself at his age wrenching
came easy!
So now he will watch and learn how to do engine work and how to do some mods.
So we have a engine to build heads to port and throw the Tep trans in.
Oh and now i can finish my build post.

This is a great story Brian. My Dad could do/fix just about anything. It wasn't until a couple years after he died that I realized I could too. Now I get to watch my son fix stuff. Very rewarding. Enjoy this time.

Not just today but past few weeks have been working on a different project. Bought a 98 Grand Prix GT a few years ago with the intent of going Chumpcar racing. Car has sat and just a few weeks ago I decided to drag it into the shop. This thing is being thrown together with random parts I have been given or gotten good deals on. Also fell into a wreck 2006 GP with L32 for $600 which also made this car get a bit of a helping hand. So car will be a 3.4 pulley headers car made for road racing. Have some huge truck size trans coolers, A/C deleted, Power steering coolers, and will be working on running brake ducts. Some lowering springs, C5 brakes and hoping to find some GMPP sway bars on a 9C1 Impala or something I can put on it. I signed up for SCCA track nights in August so hope to have the car dialed in by then.

Replaced the brake line that runs across the tunnel to the passenger wheel. That sucked. At least i have brakes now on the blue turd.

That is on the list after brakes. Thay are NOT good. Hardly any pressure. Then eventually when this set of rubber wears out ill put the right size on it.
Center caps on the way as well.

Lq4

I know the MAF I was running on my GS was the newer Delphi version of the older lq4. It did flow much better and the maf I think had more room before maxing
