Thanks for checking guys. I bought the suggested size LED (based off a bulb size chart on line) and assumed there'd be a location...
I couldn't find one.

well a pushrod motor runs better when the rockers are tight lol. some reason all the exhaust rockers on the drivers side were barely tightened. I bet I just bolt them on to hold them on and get things together but forgot to go back over and tighten it down to spec. This was the first vehicle I had ever done a head gasket repair on and I also think I had the distributor 180 from what a buddy who is more versed in SBC than I am. I also replaced the cap and rotor just to be safe.

Dude, I've done the 180 off thing way more then once, but I been a gear head since back in the 70's. They don't run well when they are off like that. albeit, they will run usually. Pop, crack boom and so on.
Cost me several accelerator pumps in those Holley carbs, as the blow a diaphragm when the carb backfires.
Can make for some funny stories of guys ducking for cover, if they don't expect it or are squarely and don't know cars well.

I've not seen that on any of the 4th Gen Regals, and I've looked at about 20 lately. I've seen it on the GP and 3rd Gen cars though. One option was a snap in/out, corded rewind type work light.
I bet there is a plug, or a place to grab power for one, if you really wanted it. If you're going to add one, look at the ones in say a early 90's Cutlass, as this was the one I had with the extendable work light. It was actually pretty cool.

Use number 653 for RightStuff - exhaust pipe gasket sealer ;)

My tog downpipe gasket is a bitch to seal. I think the flange is warped (thanks zzp) so I make a double gasket sandwich
Having only 2 stainless bolts, washers, lock rings and nuts it gets the job done vs you three bolt flange guys

Car is in process of fine tuning, I think guy knows his shit. Base tune, zero knock on 3.4 with 20* outside. I had to ask him if he disabled the knock sensors lol, nope.
