@  Marchi1 : (12 July 2017 - 02:35 AM)

How is everyone doing tonight?

@  scottydoggs98 : (09 July 2017 - 12:52 PM)

some of the 99 pcms will work take a 01 bin, those you can change the vin # ive found.

@  scottydoggs98 : (09 July 2017 - 12:50 PM)

the vin is kept in the pcm, you cant change the vin @ with dhp on 01 up cars, so if you use a the cars pcm with dhp it will retain the cars vin#. so if you flash a new bin to the pcm, its vin stays put.

@  RacingRegal36 : (08 July 2017 - 11:05 PM)

i need a bin that will work with this vin: 1g4cu541914206781

@  Tobias05 : (22 June 2017 - 01:15 AM)

...if I am able to bolt down both ends with little resistance than I would imagine it is properly seated?

@  Tobias05 : (22 June 2017 - 01:14 AM)

Well, drove the Regal last week and the passenger side window got stuck.  I thought I had replaced this one a few years ago, but looking at the regulator, I think it was original.  Also swapped out the drivers window switches, used Dorman for the regulator/motor and AC Delco for the window switches.  Apparently the non-AC Delco do not always have the autodown even though the button says so.  I have used the cheap Chinese regulators, but after using the Dorman, I will only use Dorman...it fit perfect.  As I get older I start thinking about paying a shop to do this stuff.  Called Pep Boys, they wanted $133 for the regulator(Amazon $55), and another $185 to install it.   LOL  my cheapness>my laziness  I think it took me about 30-40 minutes, and I was taking my sweet time.

And you know the job is done right when you do it yourself. Looks like you got your money's worth out of those switches.

Some pretty spirited driving today. A guy in a Lexus. Not sure what model. About a 20 mile run nose to tail running from 110-130. Lots of fun. He finally pulled over. I think his lady was telling him to give up. Hard to tell speed when the needle is down past that last mark.

Well Photobucket ruined everything I ever did online - ever single picture I ever posted here is gone. Write ups, pr9gress , flagship etc
And I would love to post an update but why bother. So another hosting site can try to shake me down?

That's why I have just been uploading photos directly to the site.  Sucks that so much has been lost over the years due to hosting companies.
