@  ejguillot : (01 November 2019 - 02:23 AM)

It should be possible, you might want to get a surplus connector so you can hook the fan motor to a battery.

Looks like the passenger side has a tear in the boot and is dripping fluid from there. I am looking for how to's on replacing seals or then entire rack.. Any experiences you can share are as always very much appreciated.

Ive done 3 already I hated it and I have the means to a shop with lifts and power tools thanks to my dad. I can honestly say yes its a long job but take breaks so you dont get frustrated. Second hardest thing is getting to the lines that go by the steering knuckle. They are hard to break loose. Take your time. Snd set the steering wheel still or youll mess up the clock spring. Try and get a non magnasteer rack as the magnets inside go out over time they are a PITA. Good luck and message if you need help or tips.

last time round was super easy, had that pos out on like 40 minutes. im a lank so i only had to get under the car to get the lines off it. other then that, i just reached in from the sides.

what can be the hardest part for most is getting the shaft back on. ive found of you pull the shaft all the way out then lift the sub frame and rack back up to it, you can get the shaft on much easier as long as the shaft end is outside the boot.

Yeah I agree there to but eh wasnt to bad just had to make sure you knew where the groove was to align the shaft right.
