The majority of people on fb are annoying.

@  ejguillot : (21 September 2018 - 03:03 PM)

Agreed. I'd rather pay money to keep this site going than be on Facebook and having everything on there be used to make a buck for Zuck and company.

@  Vicious6 : (20 September 2018 - 01:48 PM)

We need to get this place moving again! Post link to this site on every social media site you know! Been around too long and we can't let it go down..........

I finally made it out to the dragstrip. First time ive had this car to the track, and its my first FWD vehicle ive ran at a track also, so i my first pass was a learning lesson. I blew the tires off and got a 2.8 60ft. Second pass i was alittle easier on it out of the hole, 2.2 60ft. Then i aired the tires down and got a 2.0 60ft. Not bad considering im on street tires and didnt do the cable mod. Hoping I can get some drag radials on it and add few more degrees of timing (had no kr) and maybe get a 12.9. Maybe too high of hopes haha. I'm car #30

definitely a good job for first time out and especially on street tires.

as for the 12's your typically going to need a 108 trap or better on a fwd car to get there.

A 1.8 60' and trap of 105-106 and 12's are possible. A trap of 107-108 is needed for 12's on street tires/aka 2.0 60' lol

Thanks! Yeah, I'd have to sqeeze some more power out of it for sure. I think it will be really hard without major weight reduction or going to a smaller pulley. I think with e85 and maybe a 3.2 pulley, id get close, with good traction obviuosly.

Nice times and good looking car. I was at Byron too on Sunday. The green GS racing with the Buick GS club. I'm running about a tenth slower than you. I'm probably done modding this car, but I need new front tires and I might try some summer only or even drag radials if I can find the size I have. The Buick club will be at Byron again on October 16th. https://www.facebook...474890018955883 There's a BOP race at Cordova on the 8th as well. Not sure if I'll make that one. Great race though.

Thanks man! You pulled into the track right behind me right? I saw you make a pass and saw we were close in times. I was gonna stop by and say whats up but my day ended early when the wife called me and told me our 3 year old sliced his head open on the coffee table at home. Maybe ill try and make it out there on the 16th.

Yes, right behind you. My day ended early when that 9 sec red Buick Apollo cut a 0.024 light.  I think we were always in the staging lanes at opposite times.

I hope your 3 yo is OK. shit always happens when your at the track! :)
