@  scottydoggs98 : (09 July 2017 - 12:52 PM)

some of the 99 pcms will work take a 01 bin, those you can change the vin # ive found.

@  scottydoggs98 : (09 July 2017 - 12:50 PM)

the vin is kept in the pcm, you cant change the vin @ with dhp on 01 up cars, so if you use a the cars pcm with dhp it will retain the cars vin#. so if you flash a new bin to the pcm, its vin stays put.

@  RacingRegal36 : (08 July 2017 - 11:05 PM)

i need a bin that will work with this vin: 1g4cu541914206781

@  Tobias05 : (22 June 2017 - 01:15 AM)

...if I am able to bolt down both ends with little resistance than I would imagine it is properly seated?

@  Tobias05 : (22 June 2017 - 01:14 AM)

Swapped rack and pinion, not sure if ISS is seated.

Okay, so i have a 2001 buick park avenue ultra in the white diamond tricoat, well, i am having trouble figuring out why the cruise control doesnt work. When i got the car it was unplugged from the module and the pins were dirty. I cleaned those plugged it in and no cruise still. I noticed the light turns on when the key is turned forward but doesnt activate upon speed and switch press. I have 0 cruise control doesnt even turn on. So, i read up and seen the cruise operates also off the brake switch at the brake pedal. I replaced both even though my third brake light worked. I noticed 2 bulbs out im my tail light housing itself. I replaced those amd still no cruise. The only thing left is the module and multifunction switch. Ive had a built 2000 buick regal gse in black in the picture. I have had 3 regals, 1 lesabre, a camaro, and now this park avenue. The multifunction switch usually does some pretty weird electrical things when thats a problem. So, my guess is the module. I checked the yellow connector to make sure that its attached from the module to the cable and moving with the tb. Any suggestions?

Update, replaced the module in the engine bay with no luck. But this morning it turned the cruise control on and worked twice.

So, i believe its the multifunction switch heres the b**** part, i have spent at least 2 hours trying to figure our how to get the wiring portion out of the dash, so is there anyway to fix the switch instead of remove it from the dash?

I posted on the fb page like a month ago and thats what this is from. But today i decided to mess with thw multifunction switch at the yard after it worked twice this morning, so now im a little flustered and dont understand why they made it hard to replace. The w bodies arent.

multifunction switch is the issue.

I figured that just don't know how to remove the switch from the dash, so i will be replacing the stalk portion of the switch instead because its not a wiring issue
