@  ejguillot : (02 December 2019 - 01:13 AM)

Hi there. Some of us are working to keep these cars alive and running. Glad you had a good 15 year run.

@  opera_bob : (30 November 2019 - 08:39 AM)

Every time I see an Old Buick I have major respect for it. I know what kind of torque these cars make.

@  opera_bob : (30 November 2019 - 08:38 AM)

I sold my 2002 GS back in 2017. She was falling apart all over the place. So I sold her and bought a 2017 Focus RS in 2017.

@  opera_bob : (30 November 2019 - 08:37 AM)

Hi Everybody.

@  ejguillot : (15 November 2019 - 08:19 PM)

Anybody get on here anymore?

@  ejguillot : (01 November 2019 - 02:23 AM)

It should be possible, you might want to get a surplus connector so you can hook the fan motor to a battery.

@  Greg2000GS : (01 November 2019 - 01:58 AM)

cooling fan suspect. Is there a way to test it by jumping connector?

@  Fast86GN : (31 October 2019 - 01:23 PM)

I'm here....

@  ejguillot : (27 October 2019 - 01:39 PM)

My 01 White Regal GS turned a 13.86 @ 97mph with a 2.0 sixty ft.

That was actually my second pass as the first one I just went up in smoke and trashed the pass.

1st round of eliminations coming up so I'll at least get one more pass. I think a 13.50-13.60 is in it somewhere. LoL

Well I'm still in going to the 3rd round with 4 cars left in this bracket class of 13.0-13.99.
Still the .86 is the best run just can't get the car to stick. I won the 2nd round by .0081, it was a good race. I cut a .059 light to his .132 that was the difference.

Good job today. A lot of people, myself included, have never broke 14.0. Stay at it.

I think the first W body I had a 97 GS went 13.60's years ago. The black 98 went 12.32.
The 01 silver LS has gone 12.60's. My son's black 00 has gone 12.80's.
Both his black 00 GS and my 01 LS are on the way to the high 11's.
Flying the Buick flag proudly! Thanks guys.

And today lost in the semi finals. We'll get em next time.

My 14 flat (102 MPH) was before the Gen V N* LQ4 3.2 pulley, TEP trans on crappy street tires.

U should be low 13's pretty easy maybe even a high 12 with a good 60 ft.

I lost in the semi finals today but the best pass was the 13.86 in time trials. Best 60 was a 1.99 on my final losing pass of 13.89.

Sounds like you have that launch figured out.  Wish I was that good.  Cutting 2.1 to 2.2 all the time.

Thanks but not perfect by no means. That's the first time I have raced this car, and the track prep wasn't that great but still should get sub 2.0's consistently on DR's. If your getting 2.0's on street tires thats pretty damn good.
I get 1.8's on the silver car with the same tire.

Nice hole shot on that Vette! 13.8 is pretty good for 97mph.

My '97 went 14.1 at 97mph with just an Ebay 3" catless downpipe and the airbox removed. Now that I have some time off work, I'm going to go over the car and start throwing some parts at it that I have accumulated over the years. Looking for low 13s once I'm all done.
