*** PLEASE READ I NEED FULL INFO WHEN PLACING YOUR ORDERS***
Posted 25 March 2011 - 07:38 AM
I am under the impression that some members aren't taking the time to read the ordering instructions and it's really going back to one of the reasons why I stopped doing this the last time.
If you're not giving me all the required info when ordering I'm just going to refund your money.
I am dealing with several people at any given time and when I see an order come in that state: ( 1 GSX grille Badge ) Who's it for? Where is it shipping to?(some people move and don't update their Pay Pal info) others may use someone else's account with a different name. So, I can't stress enough that I need full contact information.
NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER, SCREENAME(IS MOST IMPORTANT) AND LASTLY WHAT YOU'RE ORDERING IN THE PAYPAL NOTES SECTION.
You can place the screename in the Subject Part of the Notes section.
I've had a heck of a time in the past trying to locate a member that took me weeks to do, I had hundreds of PM messages to go through before I could find the person, to bat he didn't have the correct mailing address in his PPal account.
If I keep getting these type of orders I'm just going to refund your money, it's easier for me to do this than go through the headache of trying to locate the person who ordered.
The case may also be that maybe we just spoke about your project, but I talk to a lot of people and possibly ordering the same items as the last person I spoke with and if both place their order with vague info then how am I to know who ordered what?
I don't go by the PM's for orders I go by what you put in the notes section on PayPal. I can't keep going through PMs to try and puzzle together on what was ordered by whom. If there aren't enough characters in the PPal sec then for sure include your screename this way I have a way to contact you.
Lastly, I am having to charge shipping costs now due to a member (will remain nameless) that claimed that he didn't receive his order when in fact he did. Now I will have a little piece of paper from the USPS showing that in fact the order was shipped.
I try to keep the costs of these badges at a reasonable cost, I don't see myself going overboard on pricing, you all know what some of these badges go for in OEM.
I am now paying the same amount of money for half the resin I used to be able to buy last year and I didn't pass it on to you, otherwise you would see these badges at double the cost, I myself couldn't see paying much more than what I've priced them out to be currently.
So please, just read the instructions so I am not here pulling my hair out trying to find out who's order is who's, this isn't my full time job, it's a service that I am providing to a great bunch of guys of a brand of a vehicle that I am very fond of.
Again, thanks for your co-operation.
Now I know what Dina goes through come calender time.
